Another Lockdown Birthday

Camus Consulting is 3 years old. Another lockdown birthday.

I started the business on 1 July 2017, realising a dream to work for myself, from home. Little did I know at that time that much of the world would, by this time in 2020, also be working from home. I believe that we may be seeing a revolution in working patterns and structures, which could bring many benefits, and which is long overdue (imo).

However, homeworking is not for everyone, and I hope that those who do wish to get back to the office, can do so safely before too long.

I had great plans to take a trip to celebrate on a beach in Lewis, but that was not to be. Instead, I will think back to my last business trip, to the beautiful north coast, in what felt like the depths of winter, a few weeks before lockdown. Like every part of the Highlands and Islands, the north coast has its own unique beauty. I am fortunate to see and get to know so many areas of the H&Is in the course of my working life. My dogs agree.

Once it is safe to do so (not this summer), I will be visiting a few different parts of the Highlands and Islands. The list so far includes Ullapool, Assynt, North and East Sutherland, Lewis and Skye. If you live in or have crofts in these areas and would like to book a (free) appointment, give me a ring on 07876 513404 or email eilidh@camus.scot. Similarly, if you would like me to add an area to the list, just let me know.

This also feels like a good time to recap on the most popular web posts of the last 3 years:-

If there is anything you could like me to blog about, just let me know and I will do my best.

Have a great summer, stay safe, and let’s hope our path out of the COVID nightmare continues.

Hi, I’m Kirsty!

I love small businesses and working with business owners to build websites that support their dreams is such an awesome part of my job! Why let the huge faceless corporations have all the fun (and the money)? Your small business can make a huge difference but it needs a smart website to support it.
